With extensive experience in martial arts, security, personal protection, real life self-protection situations and training, the instructor's approach is grounded in one core principle:

DGJ system expertly blends the effective concepts and techniques, from Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with striking techniques found in Karate and Boxing.
The training goes beyond physical techniques, focusing on developing reflexive responses, situational awareness, and the mental fortitude required to handle high stress situations.
DGJ trains all adult practitioners regardless of their size, age, strength, gender or disability, to effectively control, restrain, or decisively end a threat in a unprovoked manner, with the use of reasonable force, according to current applicable Australian legislation, to defend themselves proportionately.
